Pam is my favorite character, but yeah, of Sookie's many suitors my vote definitely goes to Eric (unless it's lame memory loss Eric again. He was fun at first but got old pretty quick). I started rewatching Season 1 yesterday though, and I'm liking Bill a lot more this time around. It's sort of funny how little of Bill there is in the later books.

And it IS totally addicting! I wasn't that into the show, though I watched the entire season, and my sister kept getting me to read the books and finally I gave in and now yeah, I'm hooked.

It's funny - I read the first book, then watched the show, then read the rest of them. So it's funny to me that I liked Bill a lot before I got to the rest of the books ;) Yeah, he's definitely downplayed later on ! And I LOVE Pam too! She is awesome and I really hope we see a lot more of them in Season 2.

I wouldn't mind if there was more Bill and less Bubba.
I haven't actually read the first book! My sister loaned it to a friend, and then dumped the rest of the series at my apartment. I knew the differences between the show and the book and figured i didn't really *NEED* to read it to know what was going on, so I started on the second book. I should go back and read the first one once I finish this last one.
