herogrrl asked for a tutorial of an icon in this style:

And erm, I love that icon and feel like it was kind of a fluke, but I tried to create something similar to do a tutorial on and got this:

I didn't think to save the .psp files, though, so instead I've put together a tutorial to make these:



which were done using the same basic method, except that I cropped things in triangles rather than crooked rectangles.

( on to the tutorial...let's just hope it makes sense )
