Hee! I spent the last two weeks mainlining the books and now I'm on the last one and I didn't want to finish it yesterday because what would I DO until the 14th/May '10?!. So I made icons instead. Enjoy :D

I did exactly the same! Watched the show, read all the books in a row in the last month or so and am now rewatching the show and the commentaries on DVD and am also making True Blood icons. It's addicting, isn't it? :) And I can kind of tell by your icons that you think Eric is the best, right? :)

Pam is my favorite character, but yeah, of Sookie's many suitors my vote definitely goes to Eric (unless it's lame memory loss Eric again. He was fun at first but got old pretty quick). I started rewatching Season 1 yesterday though, and I'm liking Bill a lot more this time around. It's sort of funny how little of Bill there is in the later books.

And it IS totally addicting! I wasn't that into the show, though I watched the entire season, and my sister kept getting me to read the books and finally I gave in and now yeah, I'm hooked.

It's funny - I read the first book, then watched the show, then read the rest of them. So it's funny to me that I liked Bill a lot before I got to the rest of the books ;) Yeah, he's definitely downplayed later on ! And I LOVE Pam too! She is awesome and I really hope we see a lot more of them in Season 2.

I haven't actually read the first book! My sister loaned it to a friend, and then dumped the rest of the series at my apartment. I knew the differences between the show and the book and figured i didn't really *NEED* to read it to know what was going on, so I started on the second book. I should go back and read the first one once I finish this last one.
