Yay for the Drewcons. I luh that boy. You know, I didn't really think Spring Awakening was that fabulous. It was good, but I don't get the hype!

I enjoyed it a lot, though I wasn't really emotionally invested in any of the characters either time I saw it. Also, I sort of think Melchior is an ass and I hate his smug little face. But I love the music and the lighting and the look of the production and the cast is good for the most part, and in general I do like it a really lot, and I get some of the hype but I don't see myself being all fangirl about it either, probably due to the lack of emotional investment and thinking the main character is kind of an ass, so I don't know. I definitely do see what you're saying and agree with it for the most part!

I loved Pimpernel. It was just so much fun, in all its many incarnations. There are several recordings out there, but if you ever do plan to look into one, I recommend the OBCR over the Encore album (the show went through changes after it opened on Broadway, and this album represents the newer song order and includes some songs sung by newer cast members) and the concept recording. Though the Encore version is worth it just for Rachel York's "I'll Forget You"
